Not that im an expert in acoustics in any way but ive not heard of a LP acoustic, well not one that looks like that...

 

This is what I know as a LP acoustic

I can't get the vid. to play but there was a very short-lived Jumbo Les Paul released in 1970 which had a Recording-style low-impedance p'up.

 

They are quite rare.

Well this is what it looks like... and apparently has a bunch of pre-voiced digital settings and G-Force [rolleyes] ...

interesting I have never seen one but I need to check one out. Question about the Namm shows do you have to be a vendor to attend?

No you don't need to be a vendor but you usually need to get a ticket from a vendor.

 

Let me know if you (or anyone here) go to winter NAMM in Anaheim because I live right near the convention center and always like meeting up with fellow guitar geeks. Actually just came back from hanging out with another forum buddy today!

Brownie McGhee played one when I saw him and Sonny Terry. Around 1979.

 

The new LP acoustic looks quite small....or has the guy got very large hands?
