I had kind of forgotten how many great songs he did. All you really hear on the radio now days is "Lido Shuffle".

Plus he payed with some great guitarists like Duane Allman and Steve Lukather.

And quite a guitarist in his own right.

A few years ago I saw the "New York Rock & Soul Review" with him, Michael McDonald and Donald Fagan. I was somewhat surprised to see that it was Boz that was playing all the hot guitar licks to most of the songs, yes, even the Steely Dan stuff. Although they did have Dean Parks there for some of the extended solos and the like, Boz played his *** off. Very impressive guitar skills.

I know it's a long clip, and most people won't take time to watch it all. So, skip ahead to 9:00 on "Loan Me A Dime" and you will see Boz playing some great blues.

It was this exact version of "Loan Me a Dime" that convinced me I had to have a 335. I love Boz's tone and playing here, but Drew's improvisations are sublime.

I can safely say I have never NOT liked anything this guy has done.

he puts his own touch on everything he does, and I think his voice which is very unique, is superb.
