saturn Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Once again it's that time of year where BronyCon comes to Baltimore. My good friend works at The Hilton and dreads this week every year. I was at an O's game last year and the row behind me was full of Bronies. They all had their badges on, and half of them had stuffed ponies in the seats. But who am I to judge? If anyone is interested, I'm sure it's not too late to make your plans. http://bronycon.org/
quapman Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Never heard of brony. So are there really grown men into this? Is that what the bro part of brony means? Crazy times.
merciful-evans Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 :-& ^ that was supposed to be a chunder emoticon
pippy Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Reminds me of something... [scared] [scared] I am TRULY thankful that the image you posted reminds me of absolutely nothing whatsoever. Clearly I've lived a blessed life. Good Grief! That's the stuff of nightmares.... Pip.

ChanMan Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 By most standards i am into some weird stuff on the weekends. This is a big old "Nope" for me.... just a smidge too freaky :)
StRanger7032 Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 I just don't get it...at all. I heard about the Brony thing a while back. These are typically normal men who don't dress like girls or anything else. I forced myself to watch 10 minutes or so and it just seemed like any other cartoon aimed at little girls. I saw nothing that would make it appealing to grown men. Whatever makes them happy I guess...

rct Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Ichabod is my 14 pound Maine Coon. Mrs calls us Cat Bros, especially when he lays on my left arm and looks up at me on the sofa. We also call him Our Little Pony because he's pretty hefty. So of course, I call him My Little Brony. That was a lot, but it is relevant. Kinda. rct
SteveFord Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 I never heard of any of this but one quick glimpse is enough to give me the creeps and they're only 50 miles away from me, too. Granny, grab the shootin' iron just in case!!!
surfpup Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 I had no idea this was a thing... but this site actually explains it. http://whatisabrony.com/ Not a fan, but I will confess to playing Pokemon Go tonight.
saturn Posted July 11, 2016 Author Posted July 11, 2016 Went to the Orioles game again Saturday. And just like last year, ponies were all over the place. But at least this year I wasn't sitting in front of a whole row of those guys all "talking shop" the whole game.
