dc3c46 Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 I suddenly can not play the posted vids , they show a puzzle piece and when I click on it it says "plug in not supported". Anyone able to help?
Rabs Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Hmm, it almost sounds like you need to install Flash Player. You can get the latest version here https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Just untick the optional offers (that they tick for you by default) The vids work for me... Do you have a different browser you can try?
Cougar Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Hmm, it almost sounds like you need to install Flash Player. Plus, Flash requires updates all the time, or vids won't run. Apparently it's susceptible to hacking, so they've got to keep locking up the back doors and windows.
SmokeyGhost Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I deleted Adobe products quite a while ago due to its numerous reported security issues. For vids I use a HTML5 browser plug-in (currently I use Firefox) and it works well.
Guest Farnsbarns Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Flash is a thing of the past with YouTube unless your browser doesn't support the html5 embedding, in which case it tries to fall back to flash. You need to work out why your browser suddenly stopped liking the html5 embedding. Installing flash will appear to fix it but really it would just be masking another problem which will manifest elsewhere.
