Rambler, I think you have provided a link to your profile, and due to your privacy settings, only those with a Facebook account can access it. One would then have to search through all your stuff to find it.

If you look in the settings of the video itself, you will see you can copy a direct link to the video, the way you would post a video from YouTube or Vimeo. Just make sure the audience for the video is set to Public.

I wish I could provide you with step by step instructions, but I'm away from my computer and posting from my phone. However, if you Google "share Facebook video link" or Facebook's help section you will find them.

I'd love to hear your FVG J-35 in action.

Best typo/auto-correct of the week. Of that I am just American sure.

Stupid phone!

I finally figured out how to edit a post after the fact using my mobile. Hopefully it makes more sense now!

Stupid phone! And stupid user.

You can't edit a post on the mobile version of this site...ugh.

Hardly the stupid user, Red- we've all seen and love the video production skills of your Christmas videos. Inspiring. Do you do that sort of thing professionally? Envious, here.

As to the ability to edit on the Gibson board, about a year ago, I noticed that there was also a button displayed (then) at the bottom of the page, possibly marked "Full Site" or some such thing. That enables more functionality for mobile devices; allowing zoom, and all editing features. Take a look around your page for it.

Rambler- sorry for the potential derail. . . just killing time waiting for that link ; ) .

Worked for me rambler

" Worked for me rambler" Great!

Good stuff , give bluesking a run for his money" Thanks but no threat to B with a 6-string. A little sloppy joe on some of the runs.

"What amp is that you're using ?" It's a Crate 125 solid state 1/12 acoustic amp. Gain and MV like on 3 (the national roars through that thing).

" Mind you , I'm not ever really playing to a crowd who sit and listen" Could be. I'd sit and listen.

One week- way to build the suspense! Worth it, though. Sounds like you were knockin' em dead in the library with the pre-song chatter.

Guitar sounds very natural- how was this recorded? Glad that no piezos were excited in the making of this recording.

Love the 'burst. Do you usually sit the guitar that far out on your leg or did you have a sandwich in your pocket?

Enjoyed it.

The '35 has a K&K. Ran it through the amp for a clean sound, no effects. All recorded with a smart phone. And yeh, that's where the guitar hangs, kind of like having a strap.

Jon,

Fabulous! I've tried many a time to master Blind Blake's "sportin' right hand" and have never gotten nearly as close as have you.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

FVG=Fuller's Vintage Guitar.

Fuller's is a guitar dealer in Houston, TX, and is the biggest Gibson Acoustic dealer in the US, I believe.

Rambler's model is a guitar made especially for them: The Fuller's Vintage Guitar 1939 J-35 Reissue.
