Kurt Vonnegut Fan Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 A really nice one in natural. Plus, I got a killer deal at 50% off list! Carefully inspecting it right out of the box, I was pleased at the quality and attention to detail. It's effin beautiful! The only real flaw, minor as it is, is a bit of sloppy black paintwork around the F holes (only noticeable up close). A new set of strings, a bridge adjustment and it was quite playable. The nut is just a bit high and will require a tweak. The P90s sound really good; nice and chimey; will require some pole piece adjustments to dial them in. The size and weight of this thing is just perfect; weighs less than six pounds! Much more comfortable than the Dot Studio it replaced. In 1965, my first good guitar (long gone) was a Gibson ES-330. With this Casino Coupe, I kinda feel like I've come home. Pictures shmictures - you all know what one looks like. :-)

Don E. Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Enjoy! I absolutely love mine. As they say, post a picture.
Pesh Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Dude; pictures are the RULE! That unofficial official rule that we forumites must obey! Congratulations on the new Casino.
Kurt Vonnegut Fan Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 Here it is. Under my HT1-R is a 12" cab I made a few months ago, vinyl covering and all. Inside is an Eminence Legend 1275. It's amazing how loud 1 watt is. By the way, does anybody have an inexpensive source of shims for these P90s?
tweed2 Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 I always use these, best deal I've found. BTW, nice guitar. https://www.lollarguitars.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=LGP&Product_Code=25-30-4-1-302-0&Category_Code=pickup-accessories These aren't bad, either. http://www.mojotone.com/Pickups_x/PickupParts_x/P90-Dogear-Spacer-Set I don't know about now, but the ones that Allparts was selling weren't the same size/shape as the Epi dog ears. On a natural guitar, with chrome PUs, they looked goofy, being black.
357bullfrog Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 For tbe shims try Reverb .com. I bet somebodys got em

Just cut around the pickup covers, make an oblong hole in the middle for the wires to go through and voila!
