kidblast
My niece has asked me to do a song for her wedding procession (when she's walking down the isle) She chose Cavatina, which is far to long and meandering in it's original format for what this needs to be so I had to figure something out that would work for the event. I recorded it directly from my Zoom Mp3 recorder set about 6 inches from my Acoustasonic Jr. The levels are a bit low, but the zoom did a decent job capturing this Wanted to see what you folks thought of it:
kwalker201
Ray, that was beautiful. She will be proud to have that playing as she's walking down the isle. So many talented people like yourself on this forum.
duluthdan
Very Nice. I am not familiar with Cavatina, but that guitar music is stunning.
blindboygrunt
Gorgeous. Coincidentally the guy who I played with a few years ago , who would solo along behind my drunken sailor style folk songs , was also learned in classical and othe styles as he would teach also You wouldn't believe how a room full of drunks would shut up when he played that very song If a room full of drunks in an Irish bar can be quelled with the tune . I can only imagine what it will do to a crowd on a wedding day Fair play to you for doing such a lovely thing for a girl on her day
kidblast
coming from you guys, I'm humbled, thanks gents. It is a fabulous piece, I've shortened it considerably, had to. The song is about 5 minutes long in most versions. She doesn't have that long of a walk! :) also doing a ~30 minute set with my duo partner before things start for crowd control. hopefully it's a nice day, it's out side. EuroAussie
Yeah, that was lovelly and im sure she will love it. The notes sound really thick and the sustain is lovelly, clearly there but not crazy like a Goodall or something like that. We had the pink panther theme at our wedding ceremony.
