jdd707 Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Looks like an older J-45 with a stripped pickguard. What cha think? http://acousticguitar.com/acoustic-guitar-sessions-presents-jeffrey-foucault/?utm_source=Acoustic+Guitar&utm_campaign=a4694c9227-AGN_Acoustic_Guitar_Weekly7_18_2016&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_e3d13d8433-a4694c9227-73868425&mc_cid=a4694c9227&mc_eid=eb4508815e
MissouriPicker Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Sweet and simple. Love that kind of acoustic performance. The guy and guitar are perfect for what he does, and the drummer does just enough to make his presence known. Good stuff...........To be totally honest, his style and technique remind me a great deal of myself, aside from the fact that I don't sound as good.
Buc McMaster Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Countrified blues. And hey, Looks like Gibson got the pick guard in the right spot on this one, yes?
BluesKing777 Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Really nice! He always has a nice balance of things and the drummer is the acoustic guitarist's dream drummer, but probably a liability later on when he gets plonk in him! <_< A similar old 1946 Gibson J45 for sale at a shop I look at here- should not have watched this clip - $6,600 they are asking, but they are rare as hen's teeth here.... Sticking with my J45 Standard. BluesKing777.
Cougar Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 http://acousticguita..._eid=eb4508815e Nice! Learned a new piece! (Pretty Hands at 5:50)
blindboygrunt Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Any of his albums are great , if you like the clip of course, but fans of prine can check out his album of covers 'shoot the moon'
