fretplay
I have just taken the pickup and jack socket out. So now I have a one cm hole I would like to fill hopefully with a gold strap pin of some kind. Any ideas?. You need a jack socket ?
OldCowboy
Plug the hole and then drill the plug and install the button of your choice?
Boyd
I would also be interested in some kind of strap pin that fits the hole from an output jack. I have an old DeArmond pickup that I use in two different guitars. Don't want to permanently seal the hole, just put something in to cover when the pickup isn't used. Seems to me I saw something like this awhile ago, but I don't recall where.

Boyd
Cool, that looks very nice - but there's a problem with your link. This is the correct one: http://www.guitarsaddles.com/Plugs.asp

dhanners623
Late to the party, and it's not gold, but for future reference there is this: http://www.stewmac.com/Hardware_and_Parts/Endpins_and_Bridge_Pins/NoJak_Endpin.html I've got one in one of my guitars and it looks/works great. The only down side is that they are difficult to fit. I tried all members of the family but a human arm will not go through the sound hole enough to hold the inner piece and find the hole. After a lot of cursing and thinking( the latter being better) I came up with the answer. A skewer, like you would use in the kitchen. Push the skewer through the hole from the outside then slide on the inner end piece and push it up into the inside hole. Screw on the gold outer pin and pull out the skewer, done! It's worth it as at looks really good.
