fp
I have one of the J45 1942 Banner reissues and none of my capos work on the large neck. What are folks out there using on a neck like this ? I know a couple other members here have this model. I prefer Shubb or Paige capos.

Stefano Sunburst
I have a Southern Jumbo Banmer Reissue, with a BIG neck. (the one based on John Thomas' guitar). I have been using my standard Shubb capo for over 20 years. It would occasionally pop off the neck of my guitars with thick necks, in the middle of playing. I emailed Shubb and they suggested rotating the rubber sleeve 180 degrees, so the thin side is facing the strings. This has helped a lot and the capo now grips the neck much better. It no longer pops of!. I really like Shubbs and am pleased this annoying problem seems to have been solved. Swang on.
