BluesKing777 Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Another strange beast - I get emails from Acoustic Guitar mag and this came across before: http://usa.yamaha.com/products/musical-instruments/guitars-basses/ta-guitars/?utm_source=Acoustic+Guitar&utm_campaign=db06036ddc-AGN_Acoustic_Guitar_Weekly7_18_2016&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_e3d13d8433-db06036ddc-163328913&mc_cid=db06036ddc&mc_eid=9209a73f74 BluesKing777.
jedzep Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Very pretty, for a tranny. Apologies for the obvious line. All the other cornballs must be asleep.
bassetman Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Looks interesting. Pricing would be nice as would info on the guitars construction.
58 Relic Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 1471349253[/url]' post='1791863']Looks interesting. Pricing would be nice as would info on the guitars construction. Hi all the info is within the link from Yamaha . Solid Engleman ARE treated top Rosewood back and sides ( solid ) I think they will be around the £795.00 price point . If the quality and tone is as good as my new SLG200s Yamaha these are going to be really good
MissouriPicker Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 I've pretty much always found that Yamahas are a lot of bang-for-the-buck. Truly decent and sweet guitars. This model is real interesting.
CAMELEYE Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Very interesting. Sounded real good. So, no amp? Just a little device inside the box? How long before these devices are available for any guitar as an aftermarket install?

How long before these devices are available for any guitar as an aftermarket install? Bluesking will have bought one and posted a sample of it long before the rest of us are aware of it being released .
BluesKing777 Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 They had this aftermarket gadget in the same issue of the magazine, quite bizarre - is there an urgent need for natural reverb all of a sudden?: http://acousticguitar.com/the-truly-acoustic-acoustic-guitar-tonewoodamp-video/ BluesKing777.
blindboygrunt Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Yeah , or take it to the smallest room in the house . Electronic reverb ... good grief What a load of claptrap
58 Relic Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Ok from a traditional standpoint, but no getting away from the fact that the guitar sounds so good with excellent playability ( Big confession apart from loving Gibson Acoustics I am a die hard Yamaha fan ) .

Bert jansch had a lovely Yamaha
58 Relic Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Totally agree so did Martin Taylor , Ralph McTell and countless others . Last month I purchased a Yamaha SLG 200s Silent Guitar for practice and home use but it's fast becoming my go to guitar for plug in live use , brilliant value for money ( But I must admit my J45 takes some beating as a true acoustic )
