Drog
Watched the final Tragically Hip concert. It was amazing, to see Gord Downie do the final show of his life...speechless. He is a Canadian icon. I am glad he was able to complete the tour before he becomes too weak.
boozeball
So sad. A rare talent, and from all accounts a wonderful human being.
Johnny 6 String
Watched the final Tragically Hip concert. It was amazing, to see Gord Downie do the final show of his life...speechless. He is a Canadian icon. I am glad he was able to complete the tour before he becomes too weak. Final tour was heart breaking, caught the Hamilton show, the energy and emotion was something I've not experienced at another other show by any band. (I've got a shoe box full of ticket stubs). Watched last night's show on TV too. Could be because they've provided the sound track to my life (been into all kinds of music over the years but the Hip have been a constant),but I will never forget them and the joy they have brought to my life. Gordie has always had a way of getting under your skin with his lyrics. Johnny
