Basshole
Ive been studing up on these guitars, they have a really cool look to them, But the suggest retail price is like 4,800 so that means they will probly be like 2,500-3,500 Would you buy it? Thundergod
I dont like it... looks like a silverstone or something samick pulled out a couple of years ago.
RichCI
I didn't even know what one was let alone it existed until you made this post and I Googled it. Highly doubtful. Doesn't look like something I'd like and there are plenty of other guitars I'd prefer to buy.
Riffster
Looks like a nostalgia guitar to me. I will eventually buy another P90 equipped guitar but it will be 3 pickups.
brundaddy
I'll never buy a new Gibson, the price is always a total ripoff.

Jantha
I don't personally care for the looks of them. I guess the shape is not my favorite, but I could probably stand it more if it wasn't for the pick guard... for some reason I just can't stand it. However, no matter what I think of the looks, the price is way overboard if you ask me. :(
Jantha
so why are you a member of the forums? I think he's saying he'll never buy a NEW one because of the cost. Kinda like how a lot of people refuse to buy new cars.
SRV-Zeppelin
Not for the price of a new Gibson.
Steven Tari
so why are you a member of the forums?GuitarsI'm too ashamed to say... Its an ESP LTD M-50 Oh well... I'll have a Gibson soon! Amps Vox AD30VT Marshall MG15 Effects Marshall Guv'nor Marshall Jackhammer God... Which Gibson to choose... Its so hard. (Bend down on my knees and pray.) "Dear Hendrix, What guitar Should I Buy?" Riffster
If I was going to buy a guitar with P90s, retro-style odd-shaped body with a cult-following vibe to it I would get this instead: http://www.rondomusic.com/product2301.html I know, it is a cheap guitar but it looks cool, also available with a Jazzmaster-style trem.... Plus each one of the 3 Epis I have owned was built cheap and overpriced.

I appreciate however, that he may have been talking about NEW Gibsons, which is completely different! AXE®
so why are you a member of the forums? Old Gibsons qualify also... I'm not into the new stuff either . Reissues Maybe. But way out of my budget right now.
Cat Daddy
I'll never buy a new Gibson' date=' the price is always a total ripoff.[/quote'] Well, I've got good news for you...the Wilshire Custom Historic is an Epiphone! <g> And, if the price is the only thing that matters to you, then you can get a regular Wilshire for about $300. I'm just sayin'. <g> Cat Daddy
Californiaman
That things made from Peruvian Mahogany. At that price, it'd better be Peruvian Cocaine.
buddy light
If you'll NEVER buy a Gibson then theres no point in being here. so what youre sayin is if i play(own) a strat, i'm not allowed here?
retrosurfer1959
I like the 62 Wilshire reissue but the price is too steep for a EPI and the collectable strap and everything else means nothing unless your just a collector, so nope not buying one at that price.
