L5Larry
50 years ago today. I had never heard this before and had no idea this tape even existed. http://www.esquire.com/entertainment/news/a48138/beatles-final-concert/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZqmEnjvS2M
Dennis G
Thanks for that, and it's just a reminder that Ron Howard's documentary "The Touring Years" is due out the middle of September.

darling67
Paul told Neil Aspinal to record the show on his cassette recorder... as I think they all knew this was going to be, at the very least, their last show for a long time. He almost got the whole show... it cutting-out before Long Tall Sally could wrap up. I have this on CD. Saw it in a record store in the Village back in 1997, registered interest in it, and my girlfriend at the time secretly bought it and had them ship it to her. She gave it to me that Christmas. Sound is pretty harsh, but damn it's still great!
Tman
Seems like yesterday that we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Ed Sullivan show. Just goes to show you how short their touring years were.
flyingarmadillo
I saw another article on it that said tickets where $4.50 - $6.50 and it DIDN'T sell out!
