Waterloo incoming!

I have the ladder braced with the big neck. I was at first concerned about the big neck, but I'm able to adjust after playing it for a couple of minutes. [thumbup]

I got a chance to play both X and ladder braced, truss rod and sans truss rod versions a couple of week ago. I preferred the ladder brace, wider neck version. Then again, I am used to playing 1930s instruments with no neck support. The neck on the Waterloo though was not even close to intimidating so you should find it real comfy without too much time needed to adjust to it.

Great guitars.

I got a WL-14 last year at Music Villa, it is the X braced one in their video comparing X and L braced models. This past month I picked up a WL-12, maple back and sides and 12 fret. Oh my! Is that a nice guitar. It has been my go to guitar since getting it. They have a real nice mojo. While in VA a couple of months ago I spotted a guitar in a jam at a festival. It looked just like my Waterloo. When I got closer and in a jam with the person who had that guitar, it was a near mint Kalamazoo. The Waterloo compares very favorably with that old classic. Great for us retro pickers.
