jdgm
Very good demo. Interesting they supply a Y-cord for you to switch the order of the fx - wonder why they didn't put that on a switch? Pedals seem to be taking another leap - or maybe I'm just so out-of-touch. Or both! For instance, Andertons now advertises 1435 different ones, including 78 delays, 74 fuzzes and 316 overdrive pedals! How about Free The Tone pedals - very high-end digital....or Chase Bliss, analog with digital control and 16 dip switches on the front... and there's a Boss Vocoder pedal which does talk box sounds too.... B) The y cord is for inserting another effect between the two in the pedal. My friend got one of those free the tone pedals. Just a really expensive Tube Screamer copy that didn't sound impressive at all. The Chase Bliss stuff is really cool though As for Keeley, they've been coming out with some pretty cool stuff lately. I like what they've been doing with DSP

The Chase Bliss stuff is really cool though About 1/2 way through he uses the Y-cord to change the fx order...I thought 'hmmm...' I haven't actually heard any Free The Tone stuff! But of course the blurb is good and the stereo chorus has couple of interesting features. And Chase Bliss have a through-zero flanger. Andertons also have Mr Black pedals who do 2 flangers, one of which is 'infinite' - know anything about them? Lift Music by Pink Floyd ? the stuff of nightmares! Um..... "The Endless River" is sort of...er well....oh never mind...
SmokeyGhost
Nah, this is the ONLY pedal I have ever needed.
RevDavidLee
The latest pedal I purchased from Keeley is this one. Killer tonalscapes (a la Hendrix) in a box and an asset you can play through for hours - very inspirational and makes you play more and longer. I've been a Keeley-a-holic for 14 years now and have abot 80% of everything he's produced - so yes I am biased. The tonal warfare coming out of these engineers these days is just phenomenal. Retired
I just bought a MXR analog chorus pedal. Not impressed as I can hardly even tell a difference when it's on or off. I'd like to get something Chorus, Vibe, Eco and Reverb. I've been looking but haven't found anything yet. They even make anything like that? Yes....while we're on the subject of Keeley pedals, this does it all - https://robertkeeley.com/product/super-mod-workstation/ I'm sure there are other brands as well. I have the yellow MXR stereo Chorus M-134...not working quite right at the moment but you'd be able to hear that one if it was in stereo! @Rev - WANT ONE!! Yeah, I remember when you posted that. Similar idea - fuzz and modulation in one box. Personally I might jump on the Monterey before the Dark Side. It would replace the big ol' wah-sized Fulltone Vibe pedal I have! Very pedal board friendly.

I watched the video again and I see what you mean. The way the Insert jack works would conflict with the way the order switch works. Basically, if you had an effect in the insert jack and flipped the order, the pedal in the insert jack would end up getting switched out of the middle. Additionally, there is probably no space left in the enclosure for the minimum 3PDT switch or more complicated relay system needed to switch the order. Since the Insert jack can accomplish both inserting effects in the middle and flipping the order it is the most versatile option. Mr Black has some badass stuff! The dude who makes Mr Black pedals also made a through zero flanger under a different name before Mr Black (the Jack Deville Mod Zero). They're made in Portland, Oregon. Thanks JDGM, that looks like what I've been looking for. I'd rather have something like that rather then a bunch of small pedals. Looks like a Christmas gift to me.
