Is That you Walter?

Recommended Posts

There used to be an old vintage J45 with "WARREN" similarly inlaid on the fretboard at Matt Umanov's about decade and a half ago. It sounded great. I had no idea what vintage or old guitars meant or were worth, but I remember thinking "why would anyone buy an old beat up guitar like that instead of a new one, which costs less?"

Mr. Barnwell, please forgive my youth.

We have a Gibson named Walter. A c.1934 TB-2 with an original factory archtop ring. We call it Walter because of its walnut resonator and beautiful curly walnut 5-string neck, Pretty stupid I know, but we are easy to entertain.

Come in Mike Walters, old Elvis fan!

(My vintage Martin 0-17 has a large either an 'M' or a 'W' depending which way you look at it, on the side of the upper bout..... probably Mike?
