Just curious.

I play music for a living, and derive all of my income from either playing music or making music on the computer.

EDIT:

I can't edit the poll =D> so ignore the weekend warrior part.

If you make more than half your income from playing, pick pro

If you make less than half, pick part-time pro

If you play in public for free pick amatuer

If you play at home and/or with friends in informal places pick hobbyist

And there is nothing wrong with any of the picks. Playing music is important, not how why or where. I'm just curious.

I picked part time pro, but that's not really good there, Notes. You needed another option.

Weekend Warrior is a badge, I suppose, but I've been that for some 35 plus years, and have CD's for sale "during the week", projects on the side "during the week", session work "during the week", ect.

Weekend Warrior.

Best to ya.

I gigged 45 weekends last year.

It looks like this year will be 48/49. Sheeze. There are only 52!

But. These are bar gigs.

It'll be a helluva lot less than half of my total income. But it sure doesn't seem like Part Time.....

Best to ya.
