surfpup
No, that's a buddy's amp. I'm not sure who did the snazzy cabinet work. The tolex is coming off and that's a bedsheet over the baffle. That thing looks like it needs your help big time Ohhh man. Any idea what it was originally? I think the original brown and blackface Concerts had "amp" written under the word Concert, but the later 80's ones did not. I'm guessing it's one of those? Dub-T-123
I think you're right. Notice that this has volume and gain controls and apparently no vibrato. Definitely not the brownface or '60s blackface
jdgm
Yes it's an '82 or '83 Rivera-designed Concert 60. I had the head version for awhile.... Would have had standard black tolex covering originally.

charlie brown
Drool Worthy Charlie.. Thanks, kidblast! It IS pretty awesome sounding! I've always liked Vibrolux amps, but this was a case of just being in the right place, at the right time! I really wasn't looking for it, per se', but in that condition, and at the price I finally got it, it was truly a "no brainer!" CB
jdgm
Did you ever try jumpering the effects loop and tinkering with the send and return volumes? Yes I have done that in the past and you get some more gain!! It is mentioned in the manual.....also considered changing the stock speakers but never did yet....EV speakers were a special order/option on this and (I think) other models in the line. charlie brown
Nice CB. What model ac30 is that? "Custom Classic" I picked it up "used" (but, in like new condition). In fact, both of those amps pictured, were purchased "Used!" I can't imagine they were used much, as neither one has a mark on them! My previously pictured Fender Custom Vibrolux Reverb, was bought the same way...used, but in like new condition. So...??? CB
