Embed issues... but here is a demo - http://youtu.be/2F8EqIU0DBA Oh yeah great guitars. Bought one myself. Lately some have posted that their recent fender purchases have not been up to par but I've bought 4 fenders in the past couple years and all have exceeded my expectations. Enjoy! cookieman15061
I just got a '97 Am. St. Tele. Nice. Is the headstock black or is it the lighting. If it is it looks cool. The entire neck and headstock is rosewood.
capmaster
Congrats on this pretty Tele, HNGD! Are neck and fretboard one piece like they do with maple? If so, what does the skunk stripe look like?
thejay
It's a 2016, MF and GC exclusive and they still have some of you want to plunge in 😃 I did an unbox too which you can skip to the end to see the guitar on the back but it def has a shrunk stripe which I believe is rosewood too http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=O_Fn5xxFC6A

Again, are neck and fretboard one piece, or is the board glued on? I'm just curious...
thejay
Yes you are right walnut stripe... Appears to be one piece cannot find a seam anywhere
darling67
Congrats! That's a sweet Tele! I, myself, have got my eye on a natural/black American Standard Telecaster with rosewood. I just need to sell my Mexi-Tele first. "I don't always play Fenders. But, when I do, I prefer Tele's!"
