Mysterious Synapse ST-2FPA ?

Hello, I found this ad on a norwegian used guitar site, and it clearly seems to be a Synapse ST-2FPA (although it says only "Synapse" in the ad):

http://m.finn.no/bap/forsale/ad.html?finnkode=83592700

But according to http://www.steinberger.com/st2fpa.html this model supposed to have one switch and a piezo pickup in the bridge, but the guitar in the ad has two switches and according to the seller it doesn't have a bridge piezo, so I'm a bit puzzled..?

Hi rednebb,

it's very likely that this guitar has been modified. I guess the second switch does the "coil tap" (single coil/humbucker switching) on what appears to be an EMG 89 in the bridge position. The bridge is definitely the normal Synapse piezo bridge, but if the electronics have been modified, it's possible that the piezo connection has been removed or other parts of the electronics replaced.
