Am I right to be suspicious?

No reason to be suspicious - the guitar is real.

Gibson reintroduced the adjustable saddle on some Birds (and CWs) not so long ago. The CW is still on their site.

You should know that what seems to be a replica of the original ceramic saddle, is now a tusq-ditto. The difference is remarkable.

Just a thought in passing...why do people put up photos of guitars worth a lot of money and not bother to have them sharp or even in focus? I don't think I'd bother persuing an offering from someone who is so cavalier about a virtual inspection.It's like the old saying-"Put your best foot forward."
