Blokemate
Hi, I've had my ES125 for 10 years. I've been asked what year it was made but have never been to answer correctly. I just answer "about 1967". Although it is a ES125 TCD the only stamp I can see is through the f hole is ES 125TC Any hints would be much appreciated. Thank you. JimR56
Welcome, Mark. The reason it says only "TC" is because your guitar only had one pickup originally. The bridge pickup has been added later, which is obvious by looking at the unusual placement/positioning of the volume and tone controls, and added selector switch. Still a nice looking guitar, but this modification hurts it a bit in terms of originality and value. Here's what an original 2-pickup model would look like:
jedzep
Jim has summed it up for you. As to the year it was built there should be a number somewhere. You don't mention any.

That explains why I have not seen another the same. Thank you.

I looked as hard as I could. Weird, nothing. Cheers.
