Is this Hummingbird fake?

Recommended Posts

That one is all wrong.......

- beak on the fretboard

- appears to be a volute at the headstock

- label ain't right, nor is the serial number

- white cap on the neck heel

- barn door electronics

- single layer t-rod cover

- top of headstock doesn't look right

It is a shame folks try to bamboozle people like this.......there are better ways to make money.

The seller is disclosing much less of a spiel this time around. When it was listed and was a topic here last month, the seller was telling of a Gibson neck swap onto an Epiphone body.

More fake spotting and general Hummingbird info from last month's thread: http://forum.gibson.com/index.php?/topic/135609-gibsonepiphone-hummingbird-frankenstein/

You forgot the bridge (wrong shape), the rosette (3 main circles instead of 2?), wrong pickguard position, the shape seems also wrong to me [thumbdn]

no clue what this W on pickguard is.
