The Funkmeister
I know some of the Gothic series guitars were made in the Memphis plant but as far as I am aware, the ES-135 was not made in Memphis. Any idea which location produced this guitar? Are the pickups exposed 57 humbuckers? What are the differences between 57s and dirty fingers? It's my understanding there were only 180 ES-135 Gothics produced between 98-2000. True>? Thank you in advance.
The Funkmeister
I guess I'll send my questions directly to Gibson and see if I can get some additional info. Thanks.
cjsinla
Dirtyfingers are high output, probably ceramic, 57's are regular output alnico 2 pups. It sure what you have in yours.
