Wonker
I'd keep the JJMM & put either a P-90 or a 57 Classic+ in it. For the custom PG' date=' I'd go with "firestripe" cuz it would be sick as **** on a white LP Jr. [img']http://www.terrapinguitars.com/materials/images/tortoiseFirestripe.jpg[/img] Wow I kinda like that! GuitarJunkie
Great minds think alike... When I ordered the P90 guard for my V last week, I also ordered a tortoiseshell guard for my white doublecut LP Junior.
Gonzowerke
I've been wanting to do this for a while. I was mad when I saw the Reverend Ron Asheton model! http://elderly.com/images/new_instruments/30N/RAV2-BLK_front.jpg I'd still do a Gibson Conversion, though. GuitarJunkie
I saw those too, and it got me thinking. But first thing I'd have to do is take a chainsaw to that headstock.

Wonker
If anyone wants to hear what the V jr sounds like through a 5150 head listen to the first song here www.myspace.com/wonkerband I just put up on our page, an un-mastered, fader mixed only and without vocals version of “Mission and Ramona” So it's what the V and 5150 sound like raw. This is the recording that will be on the Album, but in a mastered version with the vocals. Let me know if you still like Humbuckers more after hearing this. Jonny Rash
I just make my own. F Gibson! I have one v with two p90s (tv jones) and another with dual Filtertrons (tv jones classic). Both are lefties Vs as well! Tone monsters! This past weekend I purchased a road worn rh faded V that I'm going to convert to lefty and install a single dogear p90 on the original pickguard ala Leslie West. Rawk!
