surfpup
Beautiful job! I hope you drove out the Going To The Sun Road! rct Yes and no. One of the dangers of getting here early. It's still closed due to ice and snow after Logan Pass going west. So we could only do a bit of it. Lots of other great drive though - up through East Glacier (and lunch in that big old lodge), down to Two Medicine Lake, and the hike around Lake Josephine was amazing. Got hundreds of great pictures!

Got hundreds of great pictures! Oh yes, snow stays late. We went late in the season, actually risked being closed for first snow, but we enjoyed going all they way out and back, twice. The opening of The Shining! Stayed at that big old lodge. Glacier is awesome, we are so glad you are seeing it. rct
surfpup
Still in Alberta. Today we drove up past Banff to Lake Louise and some of the ice fields north of there. Beautiful drive. Lots of glaciers and glacial lakes. A sampling below... Lake Louise... pretty but lots of people. A very polpular tourist stop apparently. Had high tea in the chateau there... twas delicious. Lake Bow... a glacial lake adjacent to the Peyto glacier Crowfoot Glacier
