gtrpkr55
Hi, I am new to this Forum. I purchased a used ES=137 at a local Gibson Dealer...and noticed that the neck is tilted (slightly) toward the bass side. I asked the dealer about it....and was told that all Gibson Hollow body and semi-hollow body guitars have the neck with a slight tilt. Is this true? if so....can someone tell me the reason. I,m just curious...I actually like everything about the guitar. Terry
KSG_Standard
Are you saying that the neck is not perpendicular to the body? My ES135 neck is perpendicular to the body and not twisted in any way. I have never seen a new Gibson that wasn't straight and true.
gtrpkr55
yes...the neck is slightly turned. And the dealer tells me that this is normal for hollowbody and semi-hollowbody Gibsons. I 'm about ready to call Gibson customer service...and find out if this is correct.
