scozz
Two weeks ago I had Dimarzio 36th Anniversary PAFs installed in my Studio. The reference for these pickups are the pickups from Larry Dimarzios 1959 Cherry Sunburst LP Standard. They sound great! Vintage output with superb definition, and clairity. Smooth classic tone, not too bright, not muddy. Does anyone else have these pickups? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7s2n4...ext=1&index=
Flight959
Looks Smart! Is that a 2008/9 Studio with the fancy new wiring and circuit board? If it is how did you get on with putting the new pups in? Iam doing a Gibson Studio project soon and Im putting in some SD Pro II's Flight959
RichCI
Not what I personally go for, but that's a VERY nice looking guitar!
vagabond
Is that a premium plus? I didn't think the normal Studios came with the natural finish or those knobs, although I suppose the knobs could be after market. But +1 on Rich's comment. I don't think I'd ever get a natural finish guitar, but the gold hardware really gives it a cool look.
