If you look a couple of pages in, they have the listings of some of the stuff that sold in the last auction.. Some of those prices were REALLY low.. I think (if I remember) there was a 1965 Melody Maker that went for less that £1500.. If only I had any spare money This one (went for £1375) https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/23239/lot/171/
fretplay
This is the second time round for Bonham's with Gary Moore's gear. Few things reached their reserve at the last auction. It seems the the market doesn't see Gary Moore as collectible.
IanHenry
I'd really like this one: https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/24240/lot/147/ I always liked them when they were released, bit pricy for a guitar without binding but I think that's what makes them attractive to me, that and a great colour. I wonder if it's the one He's playing here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ukwaBR3mhs Ian

Dub-T-123
Who here remembers that guy Steve that was obsessed with Moore? Where the heck is he now? He would be all over this
rct
Yeah, he was here a lot, then was gone a while, then came back but not nearly as fun as he was, then he disappeared again. rct
Twang Gang
Moore is less. rct That may be but Les is more!! Anyway that last guitar in rabs post might be cool because it has no serial number, and never went into production so it's probably the only one of it's kind. Rabs
That may be but Les is more!! Anyway that last guitar in rabs post might be cool because it has no serial number, and never went into production so it's probably the only one of it's kind. And it has the perfect combo of P90 and Hummer.. That guitar WILL rock.. This is what it says... Very cool if you ask me.. If I had the money I WOULD actually bid on that... A one off Gibson owned by Gary Moore.. Yes yes and yes.. In fact I would go as far as to say that I haven't wanted a guitar this much in a while.. Gary Moore: A Gibson Les Paul Gary Moore/Dark Fire prototype guitar, 2008, no serial number, Made In USA 2008 impressed to back of headstock, carved, two-piece maple top with orange burst finish, mahogany back and neck finished in satin black, carbon-fibre pickup covers, P-90 neck and humbucker bridge pickups, four volume/tone knobs and three-way selector, tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece, ebony fingerboard with carbon-fibre block markers, headstock with flowerpot inlay and Kluson Deluxe tuners, 'Gary Moore' on truss-rod cover, in hard shaped, plush-lined Gibson case with strap and original pieces of gold-plated hardware, guitar 39½in (100.5cm) long Footnotes This is a prototype for a signature model that did not actually make it into production and is possibly the only model of its kind. It originally arrived from Gibson fitted with all gold-plated hardware, but this was replaced by chrome (the original parts are in the case.) IanHenry
This one: https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/24240/lot/147/ can't be the guitar Gary's playing in the video, it says it's a 2012 but Gary died in 2011 if I'm not mistaken. Ian
