Not digging the stock knobs a ton.
SRV-Zeppelin
I like the top hat knobs. I think it'd look good on a VM- not a huge fan of those stock knobs either. My personal favourites are the speed knobs (see my avatar) but the ones you've got picked out are sweet. Just be warned - they don't turn super-fast so if you're a knob-fiddler like me they might get annoying to gig with. (Main reason I don't gig with my SG.) I'd say go for it for 12 bucks. Good luck and post pics once it's done!
Thundergod
Hey man, reflector knobs are the sh¡t! I love them... they look great on any guitar and the VM could really use them... would give her a relly cool classy look.
bol316
Thanks for the input so far. Does anyone know if the pots on this are split-shaft? Thanks!
BlackHawk233
What would be really cool, would be to make your own knobs. Ive been thinking about it... OR ;/, you could take closet knobs lol. But I actually am thinking about making some knobs.

slasher1319
i love the amber top hats. I am putting them on my gibson les paul studio wine red
L5Larry
Before i try to yank them off to look can anyone tell me if these are split-shaft pots? Thanks! Yes, I'm sure they are split-shaft. I've never seen anything else on a Gibson. The reflectors are also my favorite. I recently took the amber top-hats off of my L-5 and replaced them with gold/gold reflectors. MORE BLING. elantric
Just be sure to use genuine Gibson Knobs. Many aftermarket asian knobs may look like Gibson knobs, but they are designed for smaller Chinese knurled shaft Pots - and will crack / break if installed on a Gibson. djroge1
Since your asking for opinions I'll tell you that I don't like them. I don't like them in any color on any guitar. In fact if I had a set to give away I would. Having said that what really counts is what you like. If you like them then great. Go for it. Variety in life... isn't it wonderful?
