Geetar_Axl
The Burstbucker 2 in Bridge and 57 Classic in Neck, how well would this work for a nice Bluesy clean tone, yet a screeching classic rock tone when distorted/overdriven? This on a Standard too, just collecting info if anyones wondering...
harmonicchaos
i don't know if this will help at all but i have bbpro pickups and the are WONDERFUl! i can get them amazingly close to a strat "sparkle" blues tone and they can do anything from a classic rock growl to dark, heavy metal. wonderful pickups. Geetar_Axl
Ok thanks, but from the Standard Faded, they are a bit to bright and hot. Anyone else?

ALIEN8
IMO, just put a '57 set in... '57 in the neck and '57 classic plus in bridge... try a classic custom or a classic antique to get an idea... My classic custom does it all with '57s in it...
Geetar_Axl
I just thought they would be the best of both worlds.
Alan B
Hi, I have a 2007 les paul standard. I use a marshall MG 50 DFX amp and I have been messing with the pickup heights. The original settings for the burstbucker pro 2 pups is a little tinny so I dropped my pups down to the settings the guy in Sidney sugested, What a difference nice and clean for acoustic sounds and heavy but clean sustain on higher gain settings but would like to hear it on a bigger rig like JCM 100. other settings for these pups would be valued any ideas.
