DaHooomie
I so want Jamie Lynn ( snowboard legend and artist, not Britney's little sister) to paint a Les Paul, he has the best style. Anyway, I really like the looks of these guitars:
SRV-Zeppelin
'fraid you're the only one. Most of the people here are either too old or too snobby to like hand-painted guitars. (mostly the latter.)

He showed us what he was gona darw on paper it was very good. Wonder if he will still do it.

DrJustice
The first guitar frankly looks like shoddy work (perhaps it's meant too in a BFG way...). The third one is not bad, though. Also many of the ones in chongo's links are really good. While a skillfully hand painted axe can be enjoyable to behold, I do prefer to see the wood grain in my own guitars. Thundergod
Talk about killing the "resale value". I dont like those, sorry bro.
BlackHawk233
The first one is to "Rough", But the 2 latter look pretty good. Just that I would never do this to my Gibson, Maybe my behringer, but thats because its "CHEAP".
crossroadsnyc
I could see someone doing that if they were making a LP copy by hand, but to ruin a perfectly good Gibson just doesn't sit right w/me. Sorry, dude.

DaHooomie
I think it would be sick to have art by this guy on my LP: http://www.lib-tech.com/artists/jamieLynn/jamieLynn.html Art + Your guitar.... either the best or the worst mix ever, depends on the artwork. jnastynebr
I love hand painted Les Pauls. Pretty much everyone on the forum has a LP that was painted by hand. Once it leaves Nashville plant, though, keep your damn paintbrush away from my baby. But of course, if I was offered clapton's SG, I wouldnt turn it down. Can't yet do it though because it's too cold outside to allow for proper ventilation. I like 'em so long as the design is good and well-executed. The 2nd one is my favorite out of the 3 on here. rybass
Those are great. I'm all for making the guitar your own and I like the limited runs gibson and fender have done with artists. If I had the cash for a studio VM and a good design I would def do that.
