Wow I really like it.

Great catch ,if you're going to buy before playing Sweetwater's the ticket, jmo.

Fantastic finish.....

To me it...

Kinda looks like it was just pulled out of a fire and some how you managed to extinguish the still burning flames. [scared]

Congrats and have fun Saturday rockin' out with that thang. [thumbup] [thumbup]

The Strat had a great outdoor debut yesterday afternoon.

She sounded and played great, and we broke her in right.

A great crowd, good food, ice cold beers, and perfect weather.

The hosts had roasted a pig in the ground for 20 hours, and man oh man, such good barbecue.

It doesn't get much better than that!

Here is Bob the drummer, chowing-down, using his snare drum as a dinner tray.

Fender came out with some sandblasted ash Strats and Teles back in 2014 as well. I have the Strat in blue and it is a great guitar. The finish is definitely different from most guitars out there. Here is mine:

I don't know, man.

I really, really like your blue one.

It's very sexy.

Coming late to the party, but one question...is it barn wood?? That seems to be the rage in certain areas...maybe the big boys are jumping on the band wagon??

No, it's just an ash body, sprayed in sunburst, then sandblasted, then hit again with darker sunburst and black highlights, and probably lightly lacquered over.
