jmoarch Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Hey everyone. I have a LP faded double cutaway and can't seem to find a case for it for under $170 plus shipping and it has to be special order. Being that it's a thin slab body, I don't want to get a regular LP case and have the guitar bobble around in there. Anyone know of a hard case that works and isn't a quarter of the price of the guitar??? Thanks!
jmoarch Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 It didn't come with a case- I believe they only sold these with a crappy gig bag. I got it used but when I used to see it on MF it was sold with a gig bag.
cvansickle Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I use a regular Les Paul case for my LP Special double cut, and it doesn't bobble. Fits perfectly.

jmoarch Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 Ok, thanks guys. I'm still a bit worried about space behind the thin body up near the neck though. I've seen on other forums that people need to put a folded tshirt or something to fill the space in a regular LP case for a special or junior.

phil325 Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 if there is a gap, keep a small soft cotton towel for cleaning it up after playing or something...couldn't hurt?
