deepblue
Theres a cool article about Charvel San Dimas guitars in this months Guitar World. For those who are too young, these were shredder guitars from the 80's. Pretty reasonable for around $1000 Im tempted to check one out. Thoughts guys? RichCI
I'd go for it with an H/S/S setup and a hard tail (I've given up altogether on trems - I play too hard).
deepblue
Im just blown away by the price. American made with great pups and a 1/4 sawn maple neck, compound radius fretboard. All for a tad over 1K. I just called my local shop. They have none in stock buy will order one for me. hmmmmm??

I tend to stay away from things called "dinky"...these days my wife does too! To answer you question Thunder, it looks good but at twice the price. To answer you question Thunder' date=' it looks good but at twice the price.[/quote'] Yes, the price is a huge letdown... I wouldnt pay 2000 for a jackson, or a superstrat, no matter how great it is. brundaddy
I wonder if the neck joint is all boxy and clumsy like on a real strat or if it's angled or scalloped or something so you can grab more high frets.
