They ain't cheap. Oh and there are only 2 available on the website to buy, but you better be ready to mortgage you house. I think one was 16 or 17 thousand. Yep Thousand.

 

I figured as much! Wasn't planning on buying one - just thought it was cool that someone was doing it old school and finding success at it.

When you have a guitar player like Doc Watson. who is a master of flat picking, then the fact he is blind and relies on his hearing and touch to negotiate through life, that is an outstanding product endorsement.

I know, right. The standard models are 4-6K... If the sound quality is as amazing as they say it is $4200 for the Doc Watson is a bit less than a pre-war Martin.
