livemusic Posted October 26, 2017 Share Posted October 26, 2017 Glad to have a J-45 back in the herd. Had to sell my previous 45 to finance the purchase of my Martin D-18. I’ll never regret getting the new D-18. Fantastic guitar...but I instantly regretted selling that 45, a terrible wrong corrected today. Always loved that classic burst, iconic Gibson growl and crisp, woody tone. And I upgraded this one with bone nut, saddle and bone unslotted bridge pins making the tone clean but with a few more harmonics. Very sweet sound. So here I am with three of the most iconic dreads ever, any one of which could be someone’s lifetime guitar. So I’m thinking these three amigos may be my lifetime trio. At least for now.
