Deluge of sexual predators

Mr. Gibson

Recommended Posts

It’s one of our most basic urges and people of power and influence have always tried to use advantage to further their sexual adventures. It’s simply the nature of some people unfortunately Jim.

I’m just dirty I don't have any leverage......dammit~

I’m sure they would just laugh at me nowadays anyway!

I think there’s an element of “jumping on the bandwagon” ATM, and who know, maybe a few bucks too?

Not condoning it however.

Oh I know people will jump on the bandwagon to get cash. But what's most disturbing is the abuse of children around my state,we are small population at 700k,and almost everyday they get one of the abusers. Some of the children are just infants when abused. I can't get my head around that, how can anyone look at a child and feel lust? And these adults who take their clothes off and start Wacken their wankers in front of women and expect them to come running for it. Good God!

The thing that I wonder about with all of these accusations coming out as many, and as fast as they are, which ones are real, and which ones are fabricated. Also now it seems there isn't innocent until proven guilty, it's the new judge and jury, the Media. God help us all.

I have no time or tolerance for people that hurt take of advantage of kids in any way!

I can’t bear to think of it, it’s so bloody horrific.

There is no punishment too extreme for these vile scum!

While I investigated a wide variety of cases over my career, I can honestly say the five years I spent investigating, and subsequently supervising, child exploitation cases (child pornography, online enticement, sex tourism, etc.) were the most troubling and rewarding at the same time. Troubling in witnessing what theses pukes were capable of, but rewarding every time I put one of them in jail for a very long time.

No!!!!!

The media has nothing to do with this. None are fabricated. They are coming out because of the women who had the guts to call out

the scum bags. It's a movement. It's about bloody time! This has nothing to do with the media. Don't believe your joke of a president.

Do you think these women are making these accusations for kicks? Do you think they get their jollies saying this stuff?

No. They don't. They are humiliated. They are embarrassed. They have no political reason for spilling their guts.

This isn't partisan. There are d!cks on both sides. Don't try and place this blame anywhere else than where it belongs.

Do you believe one liar or several accounts from multiple accusers? Really,, Think about it.

This isn't rocket science!!!!

Man. I'd give you ten pluses for that if I could.

Hopefully god will help the abused too, not just the professional bystanders who make it about themselves.

i see now Charlie Rose has been suspended from CBS for groping and walking around naked in front of women. What's wrong with people?'Seems like someone new everyday. If I took my clothes off women would either laugh or throw up.

It’s turning into a witch hunt though. I just saw Nick Carter was “accused” of rape and it’s front page on Yahoo. Mind you the alleged “rape” happened 15 years ago and the “victim” never even called the police and apparently didn’t even try to leave, and later recorded a song with Carter, but none of that stopped the media front making it front page news on Yahoo.com.

If someone legit raped or groped someone without consent, they’re a scumbag or criminal and should be held accountable.

But this “guilty” as soon as accused crap is getting out of hand.

It’s like Louis CK, he’s a pervert and gross (and IMO unfunny) but not a criminal and he’s being lumped in with guys like Cosby, Spacey and Weinstein.

At the very least if they’re going to print every accusation that comes along they should get the accused’s side too, or try to.

Unfortunately, this has gone on for years and certainly still is. What's happening is that more accusers are now feeling that they're not the only ones and standing up for themselves and others who were sexually harassed and bullied. I think their punishment should be extreme and a penis guillotine sounds like a good idea for those who do these types of things to others.

The thing to really think about is that at this time we're only hearing about this abuse of or from celebrities and other people in the media spotlight. Millions go unheard and unseen. These people are disgusting bullies and deserve the worst punishment once proven guilty, in my opinion.

I agree if someone is guilty of such a horrific crime, prosecute them to fullest extent of the law. And I do stand by my earlier post of the the media being the JUDGE & JURY!

Yeah, but look at the Weinstein situation. All these women were assaulted, some claim raped, yet they all let him get away with it because they wanted to be stars.

And by the early ones not reporting it how many other women were made victims? So now, after they’re older and their careers as movie stars has fizzled they come out to “protect” and “save”other women?

I get wanting to be a star but I don’t get knowingly allowing rape to continue. And it wasn’t just women, all the people who worked with Weinstein knew what he did. Yet they looked the other way to get their movies and millions.

As far as punishment, that’s a very gray area. If GUILTY a rapist should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. If someone I loved were raped I’d want the rapist dead. But it has to be 100 proved guilty. And that’s dufficult when these women don’t report the crimes until decades later.

And modern feminism has moved the goalposts so much on what constitutes “rape” and “sexual assault” etc that we have to be very careful. There’s been plenty of cases of men who were falsely accused and accusing someone of rape is a stigma that doesn’t go away, even if they’re found innocent.

I want rapists held accountable but at the same time the current witch hunt and media frenzy is dangerous.

I’ve been drunk and tried to kiss a girl and had her push me away. That’s not “sexual assault”, it’s humans doing what humans do. Someone trying to kiss you or make a “move” or whatever you want to call it isn’t sexual assault but feminists claim it is. They claim if a woman has sex and regrets it that’s rape.

So it’s a complicated issue and the media is not a court.

It's funny watching a bunch of dudes talk about this. Shame there isn't some gender balance here. I doubt that we really get it, but we have no ladies to provide perspective.

That said, the penis+vagina equation has worked in our favor for thousands of years, and I have no problem with this shift toward egalitarianism. If you have to coerce a woman to have sex... then you shouldn't be having sex with her.... period!

Sad ****3ers deserve what they get. Though, as noted, it's difficult to prove years later, and that is a problem. The culture of shame we have created makes it tough on women, I think, to report these things. We encourage passivity in women and aggression in men. Many women likely feel like it is their fault. Maybe this whirlwind of attention will improve that.

It’s not a shift towards “egalitarianism”.

And it’s not a “men bad, women good” situation.

Like I pointed out all those women were more than happy to ignore it as long as they got to continue their movie careers, so apparently a movie career is more important than stopping a rapist.

These same Hollywood women who cheered for and gave Roman Polanski an Oscar are going to act outraged by Al Franken taking a photo where he pretends to grope a sleeping woman? Yeah, I’m not buying it.

Like I said, if found guilty, throw the book at them. But the media is not a court and this is turning into a witch hunt. I don’t know if you study history but those usually don’t turn out well.
