Whos knows this bass?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,
a good friend of mine died last month and bequeathed this beautiful Steinberger bass guitar. Unfortunately I#m not able to correctly identify this instrument and up ti know nobody could help me. The instrument is even not carrying a serial.
Can anybody tell me, what model I have here?
Thanks in advance!
Warm Regards

What makes you think this is a Steinberger?

Not a Steinberger. It looks like a Warwick Nobby Meidel bass, however, I've never seen a plain white one. Maybe refinished?

Good morning everybody,
thanks a lot for the replies!
In deed Bernd (Be.eM) is right! It IS a Warwick Nobby Meidel which was polished white to save the palisander wood on the stage.
Your hint and the correct questions helped to find this out.
Now I'm going to find interested people who like to buy this bass. So if you are interested or know anybody interested feel free to contact me.

Thanks again and a nice christmas time!
