Mr. Gibson
I'm thinking of the American Professional Stratocaster I have 2 telecasters, An all rosewood George Harrison and a 60 th anniversary telecaster, but no Strat. I had a cheap,Indonesia made one years ago I gave away to a friend, because it really was awful sounding. Christmas is coming so I might give in to my whim. Anybody played or own one of these? jdgm
You MUST have a Strat.
merciful-evans
I have not played this class of Strat. I like the spec though. 22 frets. 9.5" fingerboard radius. I think the pups SHOULD be excellent. So much more attractive than the 70's model I used for 25 years. I'd love to try one.
Mr. Gibson
Alder body,3 vmod pickups, maple fretboard is the way I think I want to go. Or one color comes with an ash body. Daughter wants me to get sonic grey. I'm not sold on that.

A Strat does things and sounds like no other guitar. That's loads cheaper than what I'd have to pay over here in UK. I don't unfortunately own a USA one, my much-modded old faithful is 80s MIJ. Good luck.
Mr. Gibson
Went with sonic grey, maple fretboard,v mod single coil pickups. Came to 1139.52 because I had backstage pass points not used. Guest Farnsbarns
Thinking about a new guitar? That makes no sense. If there is a guitar, and it can be bought, thinking is the last thing you should be doing.

I have a couple of Gibson Les Pauls and I like them a lot. have PRSs and Teles too. All made in USA. But to my ears the best electric I own is a 1989 Fender Strat made in Japan. Old faithful is right.
