So are they releasing a joint album?

For that matter have they already released a joint album???

 

I agree with Ian. Beth Hart brings a very valuable part to JB's party.

 

Strange to see JB having such little input here. Previously I was really only familiar with the Humble Pie version taped live from the OGWT sessions. Come to think of it I don't even think I've heard the original Ike and Tina Turner version...

 

That'll be my homework for tomorrow....

Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa have announced a new studio album, Black Coffee.

 

The new album—which was produced by Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Black Crowes, Aerosmith, Rush) and is set for a January 26 release via the Mascot Label Group—is filled with the duo's takes on a number of blues and soul classics.

 

The album pays tribute to, among others, Lucinda Williams, Edgar Winter, Etta James, Ike & Tina Turner, Ella Fitzgerald and Howlin' Wolf.

I love when these two get together to cut a record. Her voice plus Joe's guitar work is always worth listening to. Beth's solo stuff is also killer too. I just saw Joe last Wednesday. I wish he would have had these CD's at the merch tables. Maybe Santa will bring me one!!
