tx-ogre
ZZ Top was the first band I saw in concert in 1976. I saw them again in 1983 on the Eliminator tour and again circa 2012. All great shows.
american cheez
it's cool music and all, but isn't it a little...out of character for them to sing a song about being a crack dealer?
'Scales
...well, they were covering a rap song ZZ...rockin 'n stylin' as ever!
Markini
Nice, telecaster and a Fender bass. I thought they were Gibson players predominately. It was hard to notice what they were playing looking at the cars, the babes, and listening to good music. Thanks for sharing.
'Scales
You are most welcome mate - I love that song and video. I think all their guitars are actually custom built and they pick the style they want. They did Fender style ones over the past few years - I think they might be covered with some kind of contact paper rather than paint, but I'm not sure. I think Billy's might be extra light weight - even the necks weight relieved but again it's just something I think I recall.

Yeah, I read that the Gibsons he plays are lightweight custom made copies, not actual Gibsons.
Markini
Well the Telecaster type one off proxy Billy was playing, I think had no logo on it and certainly looked worn. Looked like it had been left out in the desert for a few weeks. But I liked it[rolleyes]

Karloff
voluptuous brunettes have always been my kryptonite. a couple of them over the years have taken me to the cleaners.
Tman
Wow, the licks were very ZZ. I could have sworn he was playing a telecaster. They have a penchant for including hot chicks in their videos. Nationwide fo sho

pippy
Thanks for posting, 'Scales. Hadn't heard that one before. Great Kick-*** Boogie! I loved the little cameo appearance by the Eliminator's 'Gimme All Your Lovin' key-chain... Gave me all the excuse I needed to watch 'Gimme', 'Legs' and 'Sharp Dressed Man'........yet again............ Pip.
