Riffster
If you ever find yourself in Nashville on a Tuesday night it is likely that Thee Rock n' Roll residency is playing at The Mercy Lounge a few blocks away from downtown. Worth checking them out. No cover, they simply pass the tips bucket in the middle of the show. They play hard rock from the late 60's all 70's and early 80's, the core band is great and they have a slew of artists that join them on stage, anywhere from session/hired musicians that live in town, to musicians that live in Nashville. Vocalists, drummers, bass players, guitar players, you never know who is going to show up. These same guys play gigs as an AC/DC Bon Scott era tribute band and as Kiss tribute band which paid off because when Gene Simmons was looking for a band for his solo tour these guys already knew the songs so they've been touring all over the world with him this year. Check them out on Facebook, Thee Rock N' Roll Residency.

JayinLA
A buddy of mine lives out there now. I need to get out there and spend a week doing the rock n roll stroll.
