Paulycoo
Hi everyone. This is a 1960s Gibson amp belonging to Adam Granduciel of the war on drugs. Can anyone tell me the model please?
sparquelito
Very similar in features to a mid-1960's Gibson GA-5, also known as a Skylark. Hard to tell though, the photo is pretty fuzzy. I can't see any of the usual Gibson markings.
Leonard McCoy
This is a tough one without any of the Gibson markings. Gibson also didn't produce that many black amps and none of which I found matched this one. It's probably not a Gibson amp. But then again that guy has an arsenal of vintage amps, who knows... Perhaps this might be more helpful? https://www.premierguitar.com/articles/21625-rig-rundown-the-war-on-drugs
Paulycoo
Thank you that's what I'm starting to think...maybe a ga5 in a different cabinet or something like that
Grog
The closest amp that I could think of was this GA-5WT, but it doesn't really look the same either............. It might not be a Gibson............ https://www.musicgoround.com/p/450769/used-gibson-ga-5wt-guitar-amplifier
Jeffytune
From the quality of the picture you have provided, I can definitely say it is indeed an amplifier.....siting on a radiator.....maybe. We would need pictures of the front and back, any labels and such......it's just too hard to tell what it is.
