There's some guitars I like with the gold hardware and some I don't. I love the wine red and white Les Pauls with gold hardware. It doesn't usually age too well but it looks nice. kidblast Posted January 3, 2018 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Congrats Cookie,, That is sweet.. and reminds me a bit of my time machine CS 57 strat I had back in 2000ish offed it after holding on to it for a few years. I loved the tone, but it turned out that the vintage frets with the lacquered neck just didn't work out great for me. Traded it for a 02 LP standard cuz.. I'm a Les Paul kinda guy!
