As in other industries there are extremely extravagant examples of things that are, at their essence, relatively common objects. They are not for everyone, but, these ARE the guitars for someone!! I don't know who. I can envision a flashy big name country player with the LP, or even Billy Gibbons. Or, someone like Prince with the SG (although that may not have been flashy enough for him).
