LarryUK
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdUx9bxe3CA I remember seeing this on 'The Old Grey Whistle Test' and itgot me hooked on her. I went out and bought a couple of albums (no net or cd's back then)and was hooked. This has Michael Landau on guitar. He does a great job.
pippy
Joni Anderson. 'Genius' is an overused word but in the case of Joni Mitchell entirely appropriate. And the 'Chinese Cafe / Unchained Melody' OGWT clip was new to me. I saw her in Edinburgh during the '83 tour to promote the 'Wild Things Run Fast' album from which the track comes. I even managed to track down a bootleg recording on Compact Cassette of the gig. Still have it. Thanks for posting, chaps! Pip.
merciful-evans
1965. Not seen Joni from that early before! When I was 16 & at Art School, 'Chelsea Morning' was the song a bunch of us learned to play (and the open tuning of course). Thanks for those vids.
