Gibson SG

I have a chance to pick up a 2014 SG but for the life of me can not find my guitar appraisal books. I have torn the house apart looking for the damn things.

Any way, it’s a 2014 off white SG, in “ fair “condition .

Any one give me an idea on the value of the guitar.

No case, just the guitar if fair condition.

I say fair, because it does have a couple of dings and the back has some slight scratches in it.

Appreacite your help, as I a lost without my books.

The big pickguard version or the small pickguard?

White is a pretty rare color for an SG and they really tend to command higher prices on the used market. For the big pickguard version, I wouldn’t expect to find one for less than $800, they are usually around $850-900 and up

I wouldn't do business with the guy. I mean 2014 turns out to be a 2005? What else is incorrect about what he's telling you? Here's the link to all the SG's for sale on Reverb. Great prices on many of them. Good luck!

:)

That link shows the SG faded, Bill is asking about a white SG which tends to be higher priced due to the finish, although Gibson did release a white faded 3 pickup SG a while back

Yeah I know. I think he can figure out how to remove faded from the description [biggrin]

I still wouldn't do business with that guy that don't know what year the guitar he's selling is. [flapper]
