bigtim
Been a fan of Mesa amps for years and actually the first Mesa Boogie I have ever owned. No she is not new and shows some signs of use but at least she has a new home. This is the subway rocket. 20 watts of pure ear drum splitting tube tone. Also came with the footswitch. So has anyone used this for recording? Lead channel is great. Rhythm is nice and clean. Reverb is a little lacking but I just might pick up a pedal to help make up the difference. deeman
I've played a subway rocket. Very nice amp. I love my Dual Rec and I plan to hold to that amp as long as I live.
bigtim
The amp flat out rocks. I am happy as a kid in a candy store. I may eventually try to find a matching 1x12 cab to go with it. I really like the line out feature for recording. Digging it big time!!
krock
Mesa as a brand interests me. As a user of their products myself (although in the bass camp), I've not found an amp of theirs which sounds bad; although have found that their amps suffer from either being very popular or not at all popular. I've noticed this more on anything they make thats not specifically going for that 'mesa tone'. YMMV I guess for us fans it means you can generally pick up some decent resale bargains from time to time.
